Firespinning in the Park

Here's my firespinning group, Firefly Conspiracy. I'm the guy in the middle. :-)



We'll be performing tomorrow at the Temple of Poi's 2007 Fire Dance Exposition, a big show in Union Square. The show starts at 7:50pm. I'll be in the first two fire pieces.

Fire Dancing at Union Square - Sunday 4/29

This year's Bay Area Dance Week is April 20-29; everyone should at least get to Union Square on the last night, Sunday April 29th, from 7:45pm-10:00pm for the Temple of Poi 2007 Fire Dancing Expo! Come early. Bring a blanket and a folding chair.

I'm in the first act ("Firefly Conspiracy") and the last act ("Principals Rising"). If you want to wish me luck, I think the firespinning equivalent of "break a leg" should be "Tangle your lines!"

Then, suitably inspired, everyone should go learn firespinning at the Temple of Poi.

'Cause, like, everybody's doin' it, man...
